Seeking FT Live-Out Nanny for Nanny Share of One-year-old Girls - (March start) - Brentwood, Burnaby

We are two families of professionals located near Brentwood Mall in North Burnaby. We are looking for a patient and caring individual to provide full-time, live-out nanny support for our 12 and 13 month old girls starting in March 2018. This position could be four or five days per week depending on the interest of the nanny.
Our ideal nanny is personable, bright, loving and nurturing. This person would also be thoughtful and considerate and excited to bring curiosity and creativity into our girls’ lives. We are looking for someone who wants to feel like they are part of our families.
Our musts for our ideal nanny:

· Minimum 3 years experience as a childcare provider for children of similar ages
· Experienced looking after multiple children
· Play with the children, both indoors and outdoors
· Take daily walks and outings to social/educational programs (e.g. community centre programs,
· Library, play gym, Strong Start, etc.)
· Plan and lead educational activities, including reading, with the children
· Prepare healthy meals and snacks for the children
· Put the children down for naps
· Change diapers
· Perform light housework related to childcare, including cleaning up after meals, and tidying play
· areas
· Recent First Aid certification or a willingness to obtain (infant/child CPR)
· Ability to work in Canada (work permit)
· Fluent in English (additional language an asset)
· Non-smoker
· Clean police background check
· Positive work references required
