Behaviour Interventionist (BI) for a child with ASD and home support wanted

Hi, my husband and I are looking for a dedicated, reliable, energetic, and outgoing Behaviour Interventionist (BI) to join a well-established home and daycare-based team for a 4 year old boy diagnosed with ASD. Training will be provided by our Behaviour Consultant who specializes in the Relationship Development Intervention (RDI) model. The BI does not need previous experience with children on the ASD spectrum but previous experience as a childcare provider or ECE would be an asset.

Our program is play-based, focused on relationship development, self and co-regulation, social/play skills and self-management. BI sessions will be 3-4 hours in length, primarily at daycare which is on the same block as our home, and some sessions may take place at home. We are looking for a BI to commit to running 3-4 sessions per week and to attend monthly team meetings. Sessions can occur in the morning or in the afternoon from 3pm-5:30pm, depending on the day of the week. A minimum one year commitment is required following the completion of training.
