University Professors in West End need a part-time nanny for son and daughter!

We are looking for a caring babysitter to provide after school care for our son and daughter 4 days per week in the West End of Vancouver. Our son (8) and daughter (5) attend University Hill Elementary near UBC. Our son loves soccer, origami, and math. Our daughter dances, sings karaoke, likes to make art and rides her bicycle. Parents are professors of art and architecture at Emily Carr and UBC.

We’re looking for someone who can provide after school care 4 days per week from 3-6pm throughout the school year. This would mean preparing a snack, some quiet time for activities at home, and light dinner preparation until parents return around 5 or 6 pm.

The ideal person would be reliable, enjoy spending time with children, have a good sense of humour and like to ride bicycles. Piano players a plus. (Approx. 15-18 hrs/week, with some optional additional hours some evenings). Rates negotiable.
