Hi there, my name is Karie-Anne Hawthorne. I am a mother of 2 and have a licensed family day care in Walnut Grove. I provide a warm, loving, caring environment. I have excellent communication skills, and keep in touch with all my families at all times. I love Ellen's quote "Be kind to everyone." and lead by example of this. Children are guided to follow this as well. I believe in "teachable moments" and children in my care are learning something new every day! We do crafts, colouring, and painting. I have a chalk board wall, which the children love drawing on. I have a big front and back yard. We also go on field trips. Most recently we went to Port Kells Nursery and picked out some pumpkins which my littles loved painting!
My goal is make sure the children are having fun in a safe and positive environment.
I have my infant CPR, I am a certified responsible adult and I have a clear criminal record.
Currently I have an opening for a school aged child attending Topham Elementary or West Langley Elementary.
